I am looking forward to Paul Connolly’s interview and, in the meantime, happy to have discovered Voices of Boyle and to be listening to Clive Roe who has been very friendly and helpful in locating records for me. Our Robertson and later Burke family lived at The Abbey and were proud guardians of the abbey and grounds from 1793 or so until the government bodies took it on in the late 19C.
Yes, Paul’s episode is a very insightful and informative one indeed. It will be a couple of months before it’s published.
